CLEP Testing: Save Time! Save Money!

CLEP Testing: Save Time! Save Money!

The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for what you already know without having to attend classes. You can earn credit for knowledge you've acquired through independent study, prior course work, on-the-job training, professional development, cultural pursuits and/or internships.

Before taking a CLEP exam, it's important to consult your advisor to be certain that doing so will help meet the requirements of your degree or certificate program.

CLEP Retest Policy

The CLEP program has a long-standing policy that an exam of the same title may not be retaken within a three-month period.  Scores of exams repeated earlier than three months will be canceled and test fees forfeited.

Candidates who are military service members and whose exams are funded by DANTES, may not repeat a previously funded exam of the same title; however, they may personally fund a retest after waiting the requisite period of time.
