Nursing R.N.

The Connecticut Community College Nursing Program (CT-CCNP) is a four-semester, associate degree program offered at six Connecticut Community Colleges. Graduates are awarded an Associate in Science degree in nursing and are eligible to take the National Council Licensing Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).Sixty-eight credits are required for graduation. The general education courses and nursing courses are sequenced to build from fundamental skills to complex critical thinking skills.The nursing program - challenging in nature - demands that mathematics, science, social science and English skills be used as building blocks to further a student's knowledge of the nursing practice.
