Humanities

Humanities Icon

Throughout time, people around the world have raised fundamental questions about life and human existence.

By looking at the human experience through a variety of windows such as art and architecture, philosophy, literature, music, history and languages we expand our horizons and prepare ourselves for an increasingly multicultural world.

We move beyond our own assumptions toward a deeper understanding of human life and its perplexities and we better understand the influence of cultural, political, historic and environmental events on how individuals and societies perceive and project themselves.

Through the humanities we remember our history and envision our future.
