Web Services

If you need help getting set up to edit your web content or figuring out to do something new on the college website Web Services is here to help you.

I’m ready to edit my web content, how can I get some training?

There are no formal classes currently scheduled. Send a request for training through the Web Services Help Desk and we will get you scheduled as soon as possible.

I need help with editing the website or adding a new feature to my pages. Who do I ask?

We are glad to assist. Please send your request through the Web Services Help Desk and Dan or Aaron will help you as soon as possible.

Where can I locate pictures or graphics to add to the web pages I’m editing?

First, keep in mind that any image you find online is likely copyrighted and you must acquire permission for use. Don’t assume an image or graphic you find online is free to use, most are not.

  • The Office of College Marketing has a photo library that you can view and select pictures from. Visit them in room K511.
  • There are many locations online offering free photos. Send a Web Services Help Desk request and we will forward you the list we have been compiling.

I've used the web editor in the past but could use a refresher on how to work with images, documents, add links etc.. Is there a video demonstrating this?

I need to resize an image on the website. Can I accomplish this in the website editor?

Yes, check out a short video produced by DotNetNuke titled 'Resizing an Image in DotNetNuke's Rich Text Editor'

Be sure to watch the entire video for the best way to edit your image size.
