The Facilities Department supports the College by enhancing the quality of physical facilities through planning, design, engineering, construction, and maintenance. We strive to work in a responsive, service-oriented, effective, and environmentally-conscious manner.

Through the efforts of approximately 35 dedicated employees the Facilities Department maintains approximately 750,000 square feet of buildings.

The Department operates and maintains the College's major utility systems such as electricity, lighting, fire protection, boiler plant, and chilled water plant.

The custodial staff is responsible for snow and ice removal from sidewalks, stairs, and parking lots in winter months.

Other support activities of the department include planning and construction and energy management. The Department also assists in the maintenance and operation of the Danbury campuses.
