IT is committed to providing students, faculty and staff with network and electronic tools and services necessary to foster excellence in our academic enterprise. We serve to empower our users with reliable services and enable the exploration and pioneering use of technology.
The IT Department supports students, faculty and staff across campus via our online NV IT Service Desk and emergency phone line. IT is responsible for providing the community with appropriate software and hardware to support the information and processing needs of the faculty and students. IT is also charged with maintaining adequate and reliable network access to electronic information systems on campus.
NV Service Desk
Whenever the NV IT Service Desk is contacted via email, phone or in-person, a ticket will be created in the Service Desk. The NV Service Desk will record and track all service incidents and requests. Upon the creation of a ticket, an email will be sent out to the individual requesting support with the details of the opened ticket.
