The following Marketing/Public Relations items from 2015-2016 were submitted to the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) for consideration of Medallion Awards!

Category #18: Print Advertisement Single

Entry Title:  "Look Where NVCC Can Take You" Newspaper Advertisement 

Objective:  This is a full page print advertisement promoting success stories of Naugatuck Valley Community College graduates transferring to 4-year institutions. The goal is to raise awareness of the value of community college and to encourage prospective students to register for classes at NVCC.

Intended Audience:  Students, prospective students, parents, high school guidance counselors and faculty

Category #23: College Promotional Video

Entry Title:  Promoting NVCC in the Community, "2016 Memories"

Objective:  A short video produced for presentation at the 2016 Commencement reception and as a background for campus and community events. The video features a cross section of programs, departments and initiatives intended to promote awareness of the college.

Intended Audience:  Graduates, current and prospective students and their families, and the community we serve

Category #25: Video Shorts

Entry Title: NVCC Fish Out of Water Video

Objective:  A video produced to support internet radio, social media and digital advertising. The "call to action" was intended to drive fall 2016 enrollment.

Intended Audience:  Prospective students targeted primarily through social media and digital advertising.

Entry Title:  NVCC Electronic Holiday Card

Objective:  This is a digital holiday card with a friendly reminder of our 50th Anniversary.

Intended Audience:  Friends and family of NVCC

Category #44: Digital Illustration

Entry Title:  NVCC New Danbury Campus


Objective: 
Drastically altered photo of the building where the NVCC Danbury Campus will be located in the fall of 2016, using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects software. The marketing team prepared these photos to raise awareness of the new campus during the construction phase when the building appeared as it is on the left.

Intended Audience:  
Current and prospective students and their families, community partners, downtown Danbury businesses and service region residents
