Who we are?
NVCC students become M.E.N. when they join the Male Encouragement Network, an on-campus collaborative of male students who are focused on being successful. Together with support faculty and staff, M.E.N. work together to find ways to achieve their goals.
What we do?
Throughout the academic year, speakers are brought in to provide insight and to share their collegiate and post-collegiate success stories. As a student-directed initiative, our members strive to determine the collective needs of the group and find ways to foster a sense of community and belonging. At our regular meetings we discuss topics that are important to us. We also get involved with volunteer projects in the wider community as well.
When can I join?
You can join at any time by attending our bi-weekly meetings or special events that are held throughout the year.
Where do I go to find our more about M.E.N.?
M.E.N. meetings are held in Founders Hall, Room F107.
