Educational Assistant, Temporary Part Time Position (Teacher Advisor)
Open until filled.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in education, English, Math or a related field and 1-2 years experience working with middle school and high school aged students.
Under the direction of the Bridge to College Director and Bridge to College Program Director, the Teacher Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing mentoring and tutoring programs for Waterbury Public School students during the school day. Teacher Advisors will be responsible for collaborating with public school staff and for overseeing mentors and tutors during after school study sessions.
August 2015 with an option for continued contract renewals depending on performance and availability of funds.
$28.88 per hour for up to 17 hours per week. Flexible schedule.
