Regina DeMarasse was a lover of music and the arts. Born in Queens, New York on March 10, 1958, Regina’s early talents earned her a coveted seat in the New York High School for Music and Art. Here she spent four years increasing her skills playing piano, singing, dancing, drawing and writing both prose and poetry. After graduation in 1976, a spinal tumor changed her body and her life. She became a quadriplegic, lost her eyesight and could no longer play the piano, sing, dance or draw.

After graduating from Mattatuck Community College (NVCC) with an associate degree in business administration, marketing, in 1987, Glenn McCabe continued his education studying film at New York University and the International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine. He continues to put his entrepreneurial, business and film background to work as president of Glenn Andrew Productions, LLC and executive partner of MCC Film, serving the commercial, entertainment, film and digital industries.

Bruce was one of the first students to enroll at Mattatuck Community College (the forerunner of Naugatuck Valley Community College) in July 1967 as recorded by the newspaper that morning. He was drafted into the U.S. Army after 2 semesters here and returned to Waterbury in 1969. He graduated from Mattatuck and transferred to Western Connecticut State College (now Western Connecticut State University).
