Go Back to Get Ahead Information Session

Take the first step to securing your free courses with the Go Back to Get Ahead program

Event date: 7/16/2014 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Export event

Take the first step to securing your free college courses with the Go Back to Get Ahead program. To guarantee your spot in fall classes, join us on July 16 between 8 am and 2 pm for the Go Back to Get Ahead Open Registration Event here at NVCC.

In one day, you can apply to the college, speak with a financial aid counselor, take a placement test (you must arrive between 9 am - noon if you need to take the placement test), speak with an advisor, register for classes and pay tuition. If you do not need to take the placement test, you can arrive at any time between 8 am and 2 pm.

What do I need?

If you haven’t applied to NVCC yet, you will need to complete a college application and provide the $20 application fee. You can apply in advance online. You will need to provide:

  • Proof of high school completion
  • Transcripts from other colleges attended (unofficial transcripts can be used for advising purposes)
  • Immunization documentation for MMRV
  • Your ID number, social security number and photo identification
  • Payment is due on the day of registration.
If your financial aid has not been finalized, you will need to make a payment through our payment plan or pay your tuition in full. Learn more about paying for college. We accept cash, check or credit card (Visa/MasterCard/Discover).

These items are not required to participate in the event, but providing them will expedite the process.

Please take a moment to confirm your attendance at the event.

If you are not able to attend this event, we encourage you to contact the NVCC advisors below to complete the enrollment process:
