High School Transcript

To be admitted into a degree program, you must show the following proof of high school completion:

  • high school diploma
  • final high school transcript with date of graduation
  • and/ or GED.

These may be:

  • dropped off in Room K502 of Charles B. Kinney Hall
  • faxed to (203) 596-8766
  • mailed to NVCC Admissions
                    750 Chase Parkway
                    Waterbury, CT 06708.

High school seniors who apply before May for the coming fall semester may be accepted prior to their actual graduation date. This allows you to take the Accuplacer Assessment (placement test), complete your advising appointment and register early. 

The earlier you complete the admission and registration process the more course choices and scheduling options you will have.
