Re-Admit Steps for a Non-Degree Returning Student

Welcome Back to NVCC!

Who is a returning student?
A returning student is someone who has attended NVCC in the past, but has not registered for class(es) for at least the past 4 semesters (Fall/Spring terms).

As a non-degree/certificate seeking student, you will:

  • be able to take up to 11 credits
  • not be eligible to apply for financial aid

Please note, students are only eligible to apply for Federal Financial Aid if they are registered in a degree/certificate program. Non-degree students are not eligible. If you are interested in financial aid,  a part-time degree/certificate program may work better for you. Speak to our admissions counselors for assistance.
