Wondering what to do all summer? Why not learn something new, finish up some course credits or prepare for a new career to advance you in the workforce? At Naugatuck Valley Community College, accelerated courses are available all summer long in both our credit and non-credit departments.

For credit students, the second summer session begins July 6 with courses in anatomy and physiology, communications, pre-algebra and elementary and intermediate algebra.

Non-credit summer certifications begin throughout the month of July for watercraft safety, office assistant, administrative office professional, personal fitness trainer, basic life support, phlebotomy technician, pharmacy technician, nurse aide certification and certified security officer. Courses in bookkeeping and Quickbooks are also available.
