NVCC’s General Education Common Core Courses

This page provides a list of courses approved by the General Education Assessment and Curriculum design Committee for each competency area. Students completing any course listed under a competency will earn General Education credit for that competency. However, students need to check with their academic advisors to identify specific program requirements that may limit course choices under each competency area!

EET 104 & EET 294, taken sequentially, fulfill Continuing Learning and Information Literacy for students in the Electronic Engineering Program.

PTA 125 fulfills Continuing Learning and Information Literacy for students in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program.

RSP 281 & RSP 282, taken sequentially, fulfill Continuing Learning and Information Literacy for students in the Respiratory Therapy Program.
