On May 27, 2010 at its 45th commencement, Naugatuck Valley Community College celebrated the largest graduating class in the history of the College.
Students were awarded 510 Associate in Science degrees, 48 Associate of Arts degrees and 223 certificates in various subjects and areas of specialization.
There were 527 graduates, including 115 students who received multiple degrees and certificates. The total number of awards conferred was 781.
NVCC graduates hailed from 87 municipalities across Connecticut and 7 other states. The youngest graduate this year was 18, the oldest 67 years of age. The largest field of study was General Studies, in which 107 associate degrees were awarded.
