Naugatuck Valley Community College will host the second annual Spring Open House Sponsored by Dunkin Donuts 1249 West Main Street on Sun., April 27 from 1 – 4 p.m. in the Ruth Ann Leever Atrium, Fine Arts Center, 750 Chase Parkway in Waterbury.

Student services staff, professors and representatives from the College's 40+ student clubs will be on-hand to talk one-on-one with visitors about applying to and attending NVCC. Tours of the campus will be ongoing throughout the day with stops at the Library, Academic Center for Excellence, Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center, allied health labs and other popular locations on campus. Four workshops will also be held at half-hour intervals on topics including the financial aid process, admissions and student/academic life. One workshop will be held exclusively in Spanish.

Attendees can enjoy free donuts, coffee and prize giveaways throughout the day. More information.

My son is interested in attending the school. Do we need to preregister for this Open House? Thank you..

Katherine, the Open House is a great opportunity for you and your son to get acquainted with all of the services and programs the College has to offer that you might not otherwise learn about. For example, did you know that our tutoring center and library are open 7 days a week? You don't need to preregister. I would suggest that you come earlier in the day though to take advantage of tours, workshops and of course, the free coffee/donuts. :)
