Ten students will represent the elite President’s Circle
at Naugatuck Valley Community College this year.
After two years of rigorous self-reflection and -evaluation, Naugatuck Valley Community College concluded, for its part, the decennial College accreditation process with a Nov. 11 - 14 site visit by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). An official evaluation report by the NEASC team will be sent to the College this spring.
Mikailiah “Mikki” Simons became the ninth Naugatuck Valley Community College (NVCC) student to receive the Western Connecticut State University President to President Scholarship on Tuesday, May 17, at the College’s Honors Night.
"Waterbury's need for transit, other aid must be heard. The high unemployment rate, the lack of mass-transit services after 6 p.m., and cuts to our regional Naugatuck Valley Community College leaves Waterbury more vulnerable to further economic-development setbacks than ever before."
Naugatuck Valley Community College will host a gathering of writers from different backgrounds and cultures on the College’s campus presented as Confluence/Confluencia/Confluenza in the Playbox Theater on February 9 beginning at 5:30 pm.
