STEM Honors Society Accepts 19 from NVCC
On Friday, April 11, 2014, 17 NVCC students and 2 NVCC administrators were inducted into the Connecticut College of Technology’s chapter of Epsilon Pi Tau, Gamma Phi. Epsilon Pi Tau recognizes academic excellence of students in fields devoted to the study of technology and the preparation of practitioners for the technology professions.

What do manufacturing, water quality, biomedical engineering, research science, computer science, ecology and evolutionary biology have in common? You’ve undoubtedly guessed it: they are all powerful career fields for women who thrive on the “hows” and “whys” of the world and who embrace the challenge to make that world better.
The internationally renowned Dr. Henry Lee is the guest speaker at this year’s “Biotechnology and Forensic Science Seminar” at Naugatuck Valley Community College. Dr. Lee will speak from 9 am – 10 am on April 27 in the College’s Mainstage Theater, 750 Chase Parkway. The event is free and open to the public. Press release and photo attached.
