The first official Alumni meet-and-greet took place on April 3 in the Technology Hall Dining Room. NVCC Professor Peter Cisek offered guests a free wine lecture with Senator Joan Hartley and a volunteer panel making sure everyone got a taste!
Boulier describes a high-profile career defined by hard work and focus
NVCC Alumni Charles J. Boulier III joined Naugatuck Savings Bank in 2004 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In 2009, he was elected President and Director of Castle Bank & Trust, which was merged into Naugatuck Savings Bank. He is also the Vice President and Treasurer of Nutmeg Financial, MHC, the parent company of Naugatuck Savings Bank and the Sutherland Insurance Group. In addition he has served as a Director of the Bank and the MHC since 2010.

will take place on April 3 in the Technology Hall Dining Room from 5:30 – 8 p.m. To get the Association off the ground, NVCC Professor Peter Cisek will donate his expertise as the national director of education for the American Wine Society
in a “Wines of the World” tasting, featuring a select palette of reds and whites. The wines will be paired with specially crafted hors d’oeuvres by New England Flare LLC
, owned and operated by 2011 graduate and distinguished student recipient Jonathan Miller and his sister, Sarah Miller, a 2012 graduate and President’s Circle member.
At 23 years old, Naugatuck Valley Community College graduate Michael Gatobu is the president of his own advertising company, Skytech Ads, LLC. What began as a young man’s dream of owning his own business became a reality right here in Waterbury, CT.
Approximately 30 employers were represented at this year's Career Expo to help students plan their career paths. Of those 30 representatives, nearly half were NVCC alumni!
