Waterbury, Conn. – Danbury students are invited to attend Naugatuck Valley Community College’s Express Registration on Saturday, January 8 from 8 am to 3 pm at Danbury Center, 183 Main Street.
The spring academic semester begins on Friday, January 21.
Express Registration gives students the opportunity to apply to the college, take the placement exam, meet with an advisor and register and pay for courses in just a few hours. Textbooks will also be available for purchase from 9 am – 2 pm.
In order to complete the entire process, students are asked to arrive as early as possible. Applications can be completed ahead of time at www.nvcc.commnet.edu/apply. Students will need to provide proof of high school diploma or equivalent and documentation of immunizations.
“This is a great opportunity for students to streamline the enrollment process,” said Laurie Hornbecker, site director of Danbury Center.
“We know that our students have busy lives that include work, family and plenty of other things besides school so we want to make getting started as stress-free as possible.”
Parking is available behind 183 Main Street and in the Terence E. McNally Patriot Garage at 21 Delay Street. For directions or more information about Danbury Center call (203) 797-9361 or visit www.nvcc.commnet.edu/danbury.
