Commencement 2014

Information for students and graduates

Commencement is getting close and there are some things you'll need to know if you're graduating this year!

Commencement begins at 2 pm!

Graduates should report at 12 pm promptly and park in the Scovill Street or UCONN garages. Use the stage door on Brook Street to enter the Theater. NOTE: There is no place to store valuables during the ceremony (i.e. large purses, cameras, etc.), so please only bring what is necessary.  

Guests may begin arriving at 1:30 pm. Seating begins inside the theater. Guests arriving at 2 pm or later will have to wait until the procession has concluded before seating will be allowed. Use only the front entrance to the Theater (100 East Main Street). 

Physical Disabilities

Special accommodations will be made for graduates guests with disabilities. Graduates should contact Laurie Novi, Coordinator of Disability Services, 203-575-8035. Guests should contact Karen Blake, Commencement Coordinator, 203-575-8269.

Arrangement deadline:  Monday, May 19, 2014 (no exceptions)

Free Parking

Graduates/Guests:  Scovill Street or UCONN parking garage. For all other parking options go to: www.waterburyparking.com
