Academic programs

NVCC Danbury Campus students learn among a diverse group of more than 1,000 peers that includes recent high school graduates as well as working adults. Currently, students can complete degrees in General Studies and Business Management or prepare for any of NVCC’s 100+ credit degrees or certificates offered at the main campus in Waterbury.

As a member of Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (ConnSCU), Danbury Campus students receive the most affordable prices available in higher education and enjoy credit transferability to any of Connecticut’s state universities, Charter Oak or the University of Connecticut. Certain programs also maintain special articulations with private colleges throughout the region.

Job Training and ESL

In addition to credit courses, non-credit Learn 2 Earn job training and skill-building courses are available in popular health care and business fields like certified nurse aide (CNA), phlebotomy, bookkeeper, office professional and security officer, providing a quick turnaround into the workforce. The Campus also provides English as a Second Language (ESL) to non-native English speakers, from beginning to advanced levels.
